It has been several years since Providian took over Aria. I am not sure what date that was. I live in Florida. I have been allowing Soffar to debit my checking account for the past several months ( I know now how foolish that was) to pay Arrow. Because I asked for accountability in writing regarding my debt and had harsh words in my last conversation with his rep, they have not debited my account, but rather sent a letting stating that they had not received payment as agreed and because I failed to meet the payment arrangement that the law offices made with me our agreement (to debit my account monthy) has been cancelled. Now they expect a cashiers check or money order for the full amount immediately. So, I sent them a check for the monthly amount and told them that I had every intention of paying my debt in increments. I have no recorded income ( I am a waitress being paid under the table) and have no assets. My husband does have a full time job. Can they go after him if the debt is in my name?
