How in the hell do you find these agencies

I recently applied for a loan, and was approved on the condition that I pay off 2 (TWO) bills that had gone to collections. I was approved last week, however, I am still trying to contact these two agencies. One is a fingerhut bill, which is in collections at RJM Acquisitions,LLC. The other one is an MCI bill that is supposedly at Park Danson. I have found no information on either one of these collection agencies. I have searched the web extensively. I have called both Fingerhut and MCI. They are practically of no help. The reps I spoke to seem to be more in the dark than I am. Is this common practice? This seems to me to be irresponsible and foolish-the same reason why I am in collection. To complicate matters, I don't even know what state these companies are in. Does anyone out there know anything that could help me pay these collections?
