BK one spouse at a time

My wife and I are contemplating Ch7 BK and we make a little over $100k/year (50k a piece). I think the courts would see our salary and force us to Ch13. We have about $200k in debt mostly unsecured. Could I file BK first showing there is no way I can pay anything back on a 200k debt with 50k income? Then have my wife file in a year or so claiming the same thing?
