CA now claims to be OC

This afternoon, I got a message from the CA obviously "acknowledging" that he received the answer and counterclaim that I filed last week with the court. His now states that he is the original creditor which is BS! If he is the original creditor, shouldn't he have a signed contract between me and his company? He also states that he is the owner of the account. How can he be the assignee, owner and OC!! Am I misunderstanding the relationship or the difference between the three "entities" here?
