I don't think it is any better than BK13 if you want to pay your bills. There are so many CCC out there that are ripping people off, I would be very careful if that's the direction you want to go. BK13 is a safer route and in my opinion will not affect your credit any more than it probably already is. Also, BK13 lawyers and trustee's get 10% each (I think) of what you pay back over a 4 1/2 to 5 year period. Not really much of a factor since the court will reduce what you owe to what you can pay back. Also, some BK courts require a garnishment while other do not for BK13.
