I'm being sued by a lawyer that's representing a Citibank debt of $10K. It's been more than a year since I've paid them and they are not the only lenders I owe money to. What possible defense can I use when I go to the Pre-Trial or the trial that will dismiss the charges or at least lower the judgement?
