Each State has it's own rules on the filing of foreign judgments for enforcement within that State, they all refer to a Universal Agreement, but just as with the UCC each State has it's own version.

You can look up any filed judgment on line by going to the County recorded documents website of whichever County you think a judgment was filed. Generally, it will be on your credit report.
