"Lady" is correct as to "tolling" during BK, however, i can only apply to the person who filed, not to you.

If this were a defaulted debt, then the 3 year SOL would apply dating from the default date, however. it is NOT a legal debt AT ALL if it is a repo where the laws have not been carried out.

If you were PROPERLY notified within 2 years of the RESALE that created the deficiency,then you would be subject to the UCC 4 year SOL (dating from the RESALE- not the default) for legal collection on the deficiency.
