Why Chat, Last week I filed an answer and notice of appearance to the court and to the plaintiff's lawyer. My answer/defense included SOL recomendations from the website in addition to the fact that the plaintiff has yet to provide validation as requested. Today I received the following documents from the plaintiff's lawyer - via regular mail. 1.(1st page) letter stating that the lawsuit "is not settled" and that I can call to make a settlement prior to court.(telephone number provided) 2.(court document w/ docket#) FIRST SET OF INTERROGATORIES document. Document says: "Take notice, that plaintiff requires of defendant a certified answer to the listed interrogatories within the time prescribed by the rules of the court. (example 1 on list) State in detail what payments were made by you to plaintiff and include the dates, manner and amount of each payment and .......etc. (example 2 on list) State in detail every defense to this suit which will be offered by you at the trial of this action....etc. ------------------------------------------------------ Why Chat - Can you give me a heads up on what they are attempting to do. The document seem very fishy to me given that I did not receive it via registered mail and other details missing such as the courts address.
