I have an account that has gone to collections this month. Credit report shows it has been assigned to collection agency, etc. Collection agency pulled a hard inquiry last week. I have received nothing from the collection agency via mail.
At this point, should I wait until I receive something, then ask for validation? To show the inaccuracy of credit reporting, Equifax shows paid as agreed thru August. Experian shows paid as agreed thru July, then it shows CO (can be chargeoff or collection account) for August. Transunion shows nothing. Thanks for the suggestions.
