Arrest: A Katie Lane couple alerted police to an identity theft incident when someone used their debit card to transfer money from the account to an address in Towson, Md. Police in Baltimore, Md., in cooperation with Watkinsville police detective Anthony Fortson, were able to identify a 41-year-old suspect who was arrested on numerous identity theft charges. He had been employed at a collection agency in Maryland, where he gathered personal financial information on people and used it for himself under a fictitious name.
