Camco and illinois attorney general complaints

Camco is now up to 215 complaints with the illinois AG. IT has been turned over to their office in Chicago but of course nothing has happened yet. This could be a sign the state government is finally noticing their illegal actions. REMEMBER PEOPLE- it is not illegal in most states to simply collect. Please do not file a complaint just because they called you. This will weaken the case against them. File your complaints if they threatened your credit, threatened legal action, threatened criminal action, refused to provide their address or documentation or your validation/dispute process, talked to anyone that is not yourself or your spouse, called after a cease and desist was sent, called your place of work even after being told not to call, or used foul and demeaning language. I think this covers like 99.99% of you. All of that is illegal. If they have done this then please make your LEGITIMATE complaint. Also, Camco likes to steal your SS# when the debt is not yours and then read off your credit information including your actual account #s. If the debt is bogus or discharged in BK file criminal charges and go to naca.net to find an attorney. File maul fraud charges with the post office and call your district attorney to ask about filing fraud, extortion, and identity theft charges against the business AND the collector.
