All you have to do is call their 800 #'s, follow the prompts and say yes when they ask "have you been denied credit in the past 60 days" Say you've been denied credit and they'll mail you a copy of you credit report for free. You have to do this for each credit bureau. Here are the 800 #'s, it's all automated. Equifax: 800-685-1111 Trans Union: 800-888-4213 Experian: 888-397-3742 If you don't feel like waiting... (of course you don't!) Experian has the easiest website to get into and get your free report in about 3 minutes. You go to: http://www.experian.com/reportaccess Just fill out all your personal info, they'll ask you who denied you credit and when (just make up a company and date, like Chase on 7/03/03, (it's really a bunch of crap, I doubt if they actually check, at least they didn't when I bullshitted them)). Then you'll get a screen with some personal multiple choice questions about your loans, address history, etc. Answer them right and you're in! It's really easy, I do this like once a week just for fun. Transunion does it online also, you can do the same thing, but I believe Equifax doesn't have an instant one, but you can request it online and they'll mail it to you in like a week, just the same as using the phone. Hope this helps :)
