Statute of Limitations on debt

If a card possibly went into debt in 1990 while residing in CA and I now have resided in OH for 10 years how do you figure the SOL? 13 years later I am just hearing about this debt which has been bought apparently by 2 collection agencies over the years. Further more I have no record of said account so I cannot verify if this account existed.
