Does a credit reporting agency such as Equifax calculate different scores based on what it is used for.. is there a different score for a credit card application, a auto loan application, a home loan, etc.... just wondering because i cant figure out why my Privacy Guard score (which is equifax) is 40pts lower than the actual www.equifax.com report score.. any ideas?

thanks
