Well you might have heard of companies like MBNA, FirstUSA and Capitol One, they use Experian. And if you get a mortgage you better make sure all three CRAs are clean. As for the score, it's not FICO, it's a BS score that has no relation to FICO. It usually tends to be higher, but not always.
