They'll serve him even if he claims I moved to California?

And doesn't know my new address or phone or have any contact with me?

I know a roommate counts as service, but if there is a claim that the person to serve doesn't reside there, does the service still stand?

I'm even considering turning in a bogus change-of-address card to the post office today, and dating it for 8/20/03, so it will look like I moved out 5 days before the judgemnt was refiled.

I could actually forward all my mail to my dad's empty house in Key West. He won't be back till November. I could drive down there once a week to pick up my mail, and the sheriff there would most likely be attempting to serve at the empty residence.

I'm seriously considering doing it. I'll only have to keep it up until Oct 13, then I could forward my mail back. In the meantime, they won't be able to serve me.

The judgment that was filed on 10/25/03 should then be able to be argued as invalid, since it would appear that I had moved BEFORE the date of filing.
