need to find a bank in GA

I have been in colorado and have had some bad luck with checks, but have paid the fees, but of course now I can't open a bank acct. I had someone else open for me. the issue is that I am moving to Atlanta, Ga and was wondering will this follow me, and if so is there any banks that will open an account for me
