Cap1 has purchased ALL the Radio Shack accounts, not just the defaulted ones, so it is an OC.

On what basis did you dispute the accounts? Is there a legitimate defense you might have? If so, show up at the hearing and raise your defense.

The interest rate for judgments is the rate added to the account AFTER it has become a filed judgment, until then, the existing CC or Store rate applies.

I don't know what effect any prefiling settlement would have, if it keeps a judgment off your report, and if you maintain whatever agreement you make, you MAY be able to keep your reprt clean.

In any case, I suggest you Opt Out, to prevent any poisoning of your reports.
