As Taziblue says with clarity, they keep calling because they know that generally this is a good way to wear people down, gain control over them, and take their money. But you have foiled that little putrid strategy.
Suing costs these pests money. Filing fees can run a couple hundred dollars in some places, maybe more. Many of these bums have to hire hire local lawyers, more money. When you answer a suit, when you carefully reply to interogatories and admissions requests, you cost them more money. They are in the business of taking money and minimizing their expenses. Fight these termites and win. You are well on your way to victory. Bash them with every legal weapon.
