I received a summoms for municipal court in my city for a Citibank credit card that was charged off. It has since dropped off my credit report so it is over 7 yrs old. I followed whychats instructions on how to answer a lawsuit. Today in the regular mail I received a letter from the court stating this:

A pretrial date has been set for XXX @ XXX.

IT IS ORDERED that on or before 10/31/03, each party shall adivse the court in writing of the status of the case, including the following:

1. a brief description of the claims and/or defenses of each party;
2. whether a settlement is imminent, and if so, which attorney will prepare entry;
3. any proposed amendments to the pleadings.

My quesions are these, as far as #1 do I just state the same things I did in my answeres about the SOL being up? As far as a settlement, I have NO intentions of working anything out with this CA attorney, it is past the SOL and off my credit report. As far as ammendments go, should i now file a countersuit against them for filing a SOL lawsuit against me? Any advise you guys have for me would be great. Thanks a bunch.
