filed a notice to defend, a week later I get a letter from an attorney saying, that if the reason I filed is because I just don't have the money they can offer a payment plan or could concider a lump sum setllement or if there is dispute, that could be resolved before the hearing they would work with me to resolve it.(Funny, that earlier they didn't want to hear about any disputes )
The total claim is $1200, what would be the proper settlement amount to offer, so its most likely to get accepted? Thanks in advance.
