Does anyone know if there is a minimum amount that can be filed in Chap 7? Several years ago an attorney told me I didn't qualify for Chap 7. We live in Neb and owe less than 50K, but 6 months of unemployment and non-payment gives us no choice but to file. I was going to start looking for an attorney, but didn't want to be told I don't have enough debt to file. Thanks
