Help!! I have a 5400 bal with Discover. I tried to make arrangements to
no avale. My account has been sent to an attorney who is threatening a lawsuit.
He said I could make arrangements but I cant afford what he is offering.
I haven't heard from them in 2 weeks.Should I call them? I have $2000 cash.
Should I just offer it to them? I know I will get a 1099 for the balance
but I dont know what to do. And the thought of getting sued scares me. I
want to move to a bigger house in about 5-8 years and I dont want this haunting
me.
