I have been reading here for awhile now and love this board

It is full of valuable information for people who are in some pretty desperate situations. Yes, in one case I did pay a third party. And no, I didn't pay more than I owed. Only what I owed or less than that. Many people don't realize what their rights and responsibilities are and that makes this board so valuable. If not for the fact that I am in a business where we deal with collection people all the time, I wouldn't have had a clue as to what to expect from these people or how to handle them.

I feel perfectly comfortable here. My opinion and advise were just that-mine. They were based on personal experience. I can understand being unsure if something is definitely yours to take care of (I had a CAMCO problem) and forcing them to prove it to you. And when they can't taking action. It's another thing when it's recent and you know it's yours.

Just my opinion... :)
