Please help me with Discover!!!!

I have a charge off on my EXP and EQ report from Discover. Last payment made in 3/99 and I lived in MO at the time. My CR is showing it as a charge off from 10/2000 to 9/2002, 4/99, 5/97 to 3/99. The 10/2000 to 9/02 was added into my report after I started disputing. Well I have requested validation/verfication from both CRA's and they will not do anything. I sent Discover a letter in Aug. asking them to validate the 10/00 to 9/02 entry. I got a letter from them stating the accounnt information is correct in my CR's and my "origianl monthly statements reflect your prveious charges and payments and they are your responsibility to keep" If I want copies of these statements I can request them for a $5 fee. The kicker is that I have a letter from them dated 3/03 that says my debt was 0 since 3/99. Do I call them and ask them to provide me statements from 10/00 to 9/02??? This is the only thing my credit back from being perfect and I want this entry deleted!
