If you're only behind by 4 months, the account hasn't even been charged-off yet. Ignore the collection agency (CA), they're full of bull and only trying to scare you. If you can't pay them anything, then just STOP talking to them on the phone at all. You might try asking if Fleet has a hardship program and find out if they'll put you on it if you can afford it. They may still want more than you can afford, just don't let them bully you into an agreement you cannot keep or giving them your bank account info for an automatic draft from your account.
