How do they get away with it ? Fear and intimidation. They call people and use those 2 things, above all else, to make people pay debts they may not have to or even for debts that may not be theirs ! Abuse and harrassment, fear of legal 'proceedings', they use it all. Unfortunately, too many people fall victim to these tactics and send them money, usually doing themselves more harm than good.

More and more people are seeking help on-line, however so those folks, like you, will learn their rights and learn how to stop this kind of garbage.
