my husband received one of their letters recently. i figured they were a scam when the envelope said presort. it scared me enough though to unfortunately call. they said that it was a debt from 20 years ago, that my husband never had. it does not show up on his credit report, nor are they within state statutes. they called again tonight nad we did not answer. i would like to know more about the ca class action suit, and see what comes of that. needless to say, i am not about to give them my money or time.
