You need to find your mailings from discover when you first stoped making your payments, probably when they closed your account around the time they(stoped your charging priviliages). Possibly Disc has a way of not reporting Charge OFF to Credit Bureaus, if you are working with their in house collection people, I don't know. SOL and charge off?? not really, since charge off is dictated by FDIC after 180 days of continued delinquency, Charge off date is used to determine when approximately you last made a current
payment. So the answer to your ? is No, charge off does not start the SOL clock running, The SOL starts running when you first went delinquent and did not catch up, usually 180 day prior to charge off.
