I recieved a letter from a company Revcare Incorporated in Ca, telling me that if I pay my debt it will be upgraded to "paid charge off". I certainly don't want a charge off put on my credit report. What the heck are they upgrading from. Then a month later I recieve a letter telling me that FDS Bank which handles Macy's accounts is willing to offer reinstatement of my credit privilages. This sounds bogus to me. I understand that a "charge off" is when a company dosn't expect the balance to be paid. If this Revcare is aski9ng for the balance due then why on earth are they telling me that they will upgrade my dept to "paid charge off"?
Does anyone know of this company Recare Incorporated out of Cypress Ca? Thank you for any help given.
