IT is ILLEGAL and is a violation of the fdcpa. 3rd party disclosure is a major no-no. I would have your attorney do more than just call JBC. If he is worried about the ethical nature of the law he should contact the new jersey attorney general to file a complaint and contact the essex county bar association out of NJ to file an ethics complaint against JBC. Believe me when I tell you that the bar association is very familiar with JBC and will take complaints on them. Also, you may wish to consider filing a suit against JBC for harrassment and anything else your attorney can think of. JBC is a scummy agency and anyone with a shread of decency or any moral values should work diligently to remove them fron the business world.
