I keep telling you that turning it over to Sherman Asskissitions does NOT mean a lawsuit. Sherman is a bad debt buyer, NOT a lawfirm. If they were going to sue you, it would NOT be going to a bad debt buyer, but to a lawyer. Even IF Sherman went thru with a lawsuit, and I find that unlikely, it would probably be a while. Sherman would try its own tactics to collect from you first. Their 'time limit' of 9/15 is BULLSHIT, its a pressure tactic ONLY. Unless you have the money to pay this thing, in full, in 3 months or less, then I suggest you stop talking to these dirtbags at Patenaud and let them talk to your answering machine. Let it go to Sherman, who cares, they are not lawyers ! If you really just want to pay this, then send them an offer in writing and don't send a dime until you get a signed agreement back.
