Your wife can still put you on a credit card as a joint user even though you personally didn't apply for the card (are you joint or primary holder?). All she needs to do is supply your name and SSN for you to be a joint account holder.
There is not much you can do if your wife has done this and is probably something you will have to resolve with your wife.
