I have a judgement against me in Missouri, and we are moving out of state. What can the CA do and can they interfer in the selling of our house. The judgment is only against me not my husband and the house is in both of our names. Does the CA have to go to court in the other state in order to get any thing done on this judgment or what do they have to do? Can they tie up the funds from our house selling? This is for a credit card debt.

Also, I received a letter (official and looking like it went to the court) from the lawyer for the CA and they are threatening to take me to court to get me to dislose my finances to them. I received this about 2 months ago, it looked official like it was going to the court system in mo. But I have not heard anything else since that time. Not from the court or from the CA lawyer do they have a time limit (the court or the lawyer) in which to do something or is this harrassment and intimadation?

Thanks...Susan
