I just met CAMCO!!!!! A little help please

I received a letter from Camco today stating I owe them tens of thousands of dollars. They say they'll knock ten grand off if I pay now. They give a bank name as original creditor. I did business with this bank in the 80's but not since. What is going on, and what should I do now?
