pls help how to write SOL letter (car repo)

got a letter/sue from law firm attempting to collect a SOL car repo debt, send them a VALIDATION LETTER because i thought since this debt is SOL that will stop them on dunning us but they send another letter saying they will pursue to collect, with the copy of original contract...... this debt doesnt even show on credit report (passed 7 yrs old deragatory debt) how to send them SOL letter, how to word it? and i just read from previous messages that collecting a dead debt is illegal... can anyone pls help me with the letter im sending to this lawfirm to stop harrassing me!!! thanks!
