That lawyer was a bottom feeder only out to make big bucks on a Ch 13 bankruptcy ! I'd be willing to bet you qualify for a Ch 7, did he even mention that ?? Probably not, they don't get as much money for a Ch 7. Try www.naca.net for a consumer protection lawyer in your area.
