You have different issues here. You must file your affirmative defense - past the statute of limitiations in response to the lawsuit.

Be careful in responding to their request. They are attempting to make you prove their case. As stated above, state lacking knowledge.

You might consider consulting a lawyer. These cases can get tricky and judges ususally do not look kindly on pro se defendants.


If you are successful in defeating the case, you should get back your attorneys fees.
