I wouldn't sweat it too much. So they hired an attorney. They still broke the law by not validating within a reasonable amount of time (30 days). I hope you sent your validation letter CRRR. If you did, I would send him a copy of the validation letter along with a copy of the proof of receipt. Let them file suit. if you ahve proof that they never validated, you could file countersuit and put them a hurt on them.
