I live in oklahoma.I was sued by the same people just a few weeks ago. I don't work,Husband draws socical security and va.The house is in my husbands name and so are the cars we have.We opened a new checking account just in my husbands name.Answered the suit.We went to court.our lawyer said that if i didn't addmint to the debt that there will be a trial.So i just admitted to it all. Of course i got the judgement agianst me.I got a letter from love beal nixon lawyers saying the the card co.(Capital one) wasn't going to attempt to collect on the debt in any way.I figured that sence they know that i have nothing that it wasn't worth them trying to go any further with it.I think that they just go after the people and hope that they can get something out of you.I hope that this will help you.
