You're processing this beautifully. As Taziblue mentions this is their picnic, so to speak, they have to provide the sandwiches and they haven't.

You've deprived them of their coveted defaul judgement by responding. You are now costing them money and making them work, neither one of which is in their business plan. As with all crooks they like easy hits, paths of least resistance. And you are resisting. Beautiful.

You may hear something, you may not. If these sewer pickles don't validate then of course it's Countersuit & FTC complaint time.

Also, a hint given by a kind lawyer some years ago. Always have all your papers time stamped by the court clerk, you might be able - in your state - to leave the enemy's copies unstamped. Let them worry about it. Nothing like turning the weapon on the attacker. Kindly instruct them as would a gentle-hearted patient tutor that to stick their cloven-hoofs into your life will cost them time, money, reputation, and prove most painful. It's the only way to deal with perps.
