You're processing this beautifully. As Taziblue mentions this is their picnic, so to speak, they have to provide the sandwiches and they haven't. You've deprived them of their coveted defaul judgement by responding. You are now costing them money and making them work, neither one of which is in their business plan. Kindly instruct them as would a gentle-hearted patient tutor that to stick their cloven-hoofs into your life will cost them time, money, reputation, and prove most painful.
