Not to differ with you LadynRed, but I was under the impression that making payments after an account was charged off, did not figure in the SOL issue, unless there was a new signed contract by both parties. Maybe I'm mistaken on Gromit's condition of his/her account, Gromit said closed, not sure if he/she ment charged off, or just closed. I had a cc that was charged off, on a specific date (statement from them), yet the company kept the account and tried to collect in house for awhile. Is this what is going on with Gromit's account, or was it mearly closed and never charged off. If it was charged off, does making paymnts to the OC after charge off, with no new written agreement stop the SOL clock from running??
