Try disputing it with CRAs in a LETTER, stating that the bank assigned their right to report the debt to the collection agency Kay works with. They will interpret the CA account as the original account & delete, or become confused and do same. I know these jerks, and they set the STANDARD for colletion abuse! Try online disputes with TRU, and sending a letter carbon copy to CBC (the East Coast TRU affiliate): I see them delete things I could NEVER get deleted before. I think they're stupid and that's why it works.
