IT really all depends on the age of the debt, type of debt, amount of debt, ect. However, if the debt is within the statute of limitations sending a validation letter could be like playing with fire. Many times it pisses off the CA and they just turn around and sue. I wanted to make that very clear. If the debt is real and in stat you are the one taking the chance.
