TL's on Credit Reports

How long does it/should it take for a TL (open or collection) to show up on your CR after the OC or a CA reports it? If it matters, we're talking about EQ.

I've got a CA account showing as reported 6/2003 but did not show up on my CR until late July/early August (I have CR reports from EQ dated 7/1, 7/17 and 8/19. The CA account was not on the July reports.
