Wells Fargo Credit Card

I've had my Wells Fargo Credit Card since 1997 and have had good standing on it until now. Because of financial circumstances I have not made a payment on it in 4 months, but have contacted them now regarding arranging a payment plan I can afford. The man I spoke with was not reasonable AT ALL & said the only exceptable payment was $900+ I told the man I was very willing to work with them to pay my debt, but at this time all I could pay was $200/month. We ended up in a yelling match & he was very rude & un-cooperative & even hung up on me. He said the account would be sent to their legal department. Has anyone had any experience with Wells Fargo & is all their collecting and legal departments in-house? I would like to re-pay but I can only afford the offer I gave him at this time. HELP????
