I rented an apartment about 2 years ago. I signed a month to month lease with the landlord, at the time I signed the lease I gave her a check for $1050.00; 525.00 for 1st monthes rent and $525.00 for security deposit. I lived for 2 monthes and moved out when I gave her the keys she told me to call her and leave my address and she will mail my deposit. I have not heard from her since nor have I received any letter(s) from her stating how much, if any of the security deposit would receive. Is it to late to sue her for my security deposit plus interest? I live in Virginia if that makes any difference? Please HELP!!! Thank you- Kristen
