Know your laws!!!

Yes, there is a limit. Depending on the laws of the state that you are calling, you are not allowed to make more than one call per day to a debtor. In some states, if the debtor says "do not call me at work", you must never call them at work again. Some states such as New York, only two contacts per week is allowed per FDCPA, in other states only one contact per week. And of course in the state of MA, one call per week, no request for post dated checks, not allowed to tell spouse they are responsible for debt and by all means read the mini-miranda of rights to all debtors.

If the debtor hangs up on you in anger after they have identified themselves, you must not call them again at home or work for seven days. If you do not follow these laws to the letter, you are setting yourself and the collection agency you work for up for a mean, major, razor sharp law suit!!!! An the debtor still does not have to pay the debt owed!!!
Kind of scary..hunh?!!!
