Camco letter

Just received letter from Camco about old Bank of America debt. I know for a fact that this debt is over 10 years old & I even tried to have it removed at the time because it was taken out fraudently. I have a letter from Bank of America (dated 8/17/92) stating they would take it off my cr, but they never did. Anyway! How do I respond to this letter? Can I make this go away? My credit has been great for over 5 years now? Will this affect it?
